This is an extremely NICE set for the purchase price, and I would recommend it for small areas. I bought the Tobacco Black set, and it's not a true black, but more like a dark dark dark brown, almost black. I got this set to set up a vacant house I've on the market. This dining set creates the empty house feel considerably more homey, and it offers potential buyers a location to sit back to create up an offer (I hope!). I assembled it by myself, and it took me about 2-1/2 hours. Setting it up out of your shipping box took almost given that the assembly.... fine, I'm exaggerating there, but it was Perfectly packed, and every one of the portions were in pristine condition. Because of the size total weight of the shipping and delivery package (104 lbs), I opened the box where it was delivered down stairs, and carried the pieces upstairs. Assembly was EASY, simply time consuming. I'm a saw, person, so assembly with simply an allen wrench is normally tedious for me. I did so employ my cordless drill to drive the screws that contain the seat section onto the chair. Nevertheless, you have to be very careful when utilizing a power drill thus that you do not over-tighten the screws, which could cause them to entirely go through the seat. When assembling the chairs, you need to not completely tighten the allen bolts right away. Tighten them to where they will be snug but you still have a few more turns, in that case take the chair and put it upright on to the floor ( use a hard floor, not carpeting). Then take among the seats and put in on the chair and sit on it to obtain the chair level, then finish tightening all the allen bolts, being mindful never to mess up the alignment you just made to get it level. Once completed, it looks great.
